ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Joseph Anthony, born and raised in the North Bay Area of San Francisco, began writing at age nine. He founded, produced and edited his elementary school’s first school paper, the “McKinley Sting” and wrote for his high school newspaper, winning numerous local writing contests.

He is a two-book-at-time reader of all things historical; especially the great authors, both ancient and modern, such as Josephus and Tuchman. Joseph also finds inspiration in works by Hemingway, London, and Poe.

He has traveled extensively with his wife Jessica. For seven years they lived in the remote Andean provinces of Peru, working as volunteer teachers and missionaries.

Joseph currently works as an Investment Advisor and enjoys backpacking the wilderness areas of his home state of California. This is his first novel.
